Laponia!

El fin de semana pasado fuimos a Kiruna o la Laponia sueca =)/ The last weekend we went to Kiruna or the swedish Lappland =)

Nos hizo super buen clima, estabamos a unos -10ºC y como yo ya estoy echa toda una sueca... Jajaja, ahora hace 0ºC y voy con la ropa de verano :) / The weather was great! It was about -10ºC and now I'm a real swedish girl so... hahaha even now it's 0ºC so I dress with summer clothes :)

Fue un finde super especial, hice cosas que no habia echo nunca en mi vida y que creo, que nunca repetiré. / It was a very special weekend, I did activities that I've never done in my life and think, I won't do it again.
También fue especial por la gente que fuimos, eramos siete personas y ciertamente cada cual mejor!/ It was also special about the people, we were seven people and really, each one nicer than the others

El viernes llegamos muy tarde al aeropuerto, pero los dueños del hostal nos vinieron a buscar. En la casa no había ningún restaurante ni supermercado cerca, con lo que tuvimos que llevar toda la comida y la bebida en maletas. Como ibamos en avión fue un poco caos jeje

Esa noche salimos a dar un paseo alrededor de un lago que había al lado de nuestra casa, seriamente menos mal que me dirigían los demás, porque ahí no había ni una misera lucecíta... ¡¡Para encontrar el camino de vuelta a casa!!
Ese día vimos la aurora boreal!! Al principio no estabamos seguros de que fuera, porque Miriam (la dueña del hostal, que por cierto era española) nos dijo que a veces se confundia con las luces de los coches que se reflejaban en el cielo.
That night we went around a lake which was close our house. Luckily I followed the others because there were no light there... so impossible to find the way to come back home!!
That day we saw the northern light!! At the begining we weren't sur about it, because Miriam (the hostel's owner, spanish by the way) told us that sometime you can confuse it with the lights of the cars that are reflected in the sky.

Y como teniamos todo un señor fotografo en el grupo, se pudo tomar una foto de la aurora boreal. Ciertamente es increible, creo que no se puede describir con palabras lo bonita que es!
As we had a really mister photographer in the group, a picture of the northern light could be taken. It's amazing, I think there are no words to describe such beautiful it is!

El sábado por la mañana condujimos motos en la nieve y vimos el hotel de hielo. Al principio no quería conducir la moto, prefería ir de copiloto todo el rato, pero me convencieron y menos mal! me encantó!! realmente es super fácil, sólo tenías que acelerar y frenar... ¬¬
Para que veaís mis artes al volante ( y porque no, mis super pintas... ¡parecía que tenía una collarín con esa bufanda!)
On saturday morning, we drove snow mobile and saw the ice hotel. At the begining, I didnt want to drive the motor. I prefer to be a co-driver all the time, but they persuade me and I really loved it!! It's super easy, just accelerate and break... ¬¬

Por la tarde y noche estuvimos sentados frente al fuego (en la calle eh??!!) y en la sauna. / At night we were sitting in front of the fire (In the street eh??!!) and we went to the sauna

El domingo por la mañana, condujimos un trineo con perros. La nieve estaba poco dura porque hacía mucho calor así que los perros iban super despacito, pero valía la pena ver el paisaje... Esta soy yo con Damian en el super trineo =)
On Sunday morning, we drove a dog sled. The snow was soft, it was too warm, so the dogs were really slow, but the views was very beautiful... In this picture I am with Damian in our super sledge =)

Esa noche fuimos a la sauna otra vez y vimos la aurora boreal por segunda vez! Ahora convencidos de que era... /That night we went to the sauna again and saw the northern light, now sure that it was the real one...

Por cierto si pinchais en las fotos se hacen más grandes...

Ciertamente fue un gran viaje, en más de un sentido =)
